README

Wolf Commands

A lightweight command package for Valheim 1.0 tamed followers.

Controls

G — Advance

  • Commands loaded tamed followers currently following the local player to move forward in the player's current facing direction.
  • Advance window: 3 seconds.
  • Uses the follower's normal AI locomotion rather than translating/sliding the character.
  • If the wolf acquires an enemy during Advance, the command stops interfering and normal MonsterAI combat takes over immediately.
  • Follow target is not permanently changed.

H — Recall

  • Commands loaded tamed followers currently following the local player to disengage and return.
  • Clears the current creature target / alert state during the short recall window to prevent immediately re-engaging.
  • Follow target remains the player.

Compatibility / Scope

  • Does not write command state to the world save / ZDO.
  • Intended to work alongside TamedWolfBalance, Pet Protection, Elite Creatures and LetsGo without altering their persistent data.

Multiplayer

For the most consistent behaviour, install the same package on all players, including the host.

Install

Use r2modman → Import local mod and select this ZIP.
