G3A3 Config Editor

Edit the configs of all your BepInEx mods on a clear web page instead of a text file, and save them straight back where the mods read them. For G3A3 it also shows what the numbers will do in the game.

Features

• Every mod, one page. All .cfg files of the profile, subfolders included, listed by mod name.
• Easy editing. Sections, search, switches, sliders and lists; descriptions, defaults and ranges; changed and wrong values are marked.
• Safe saving. Saved in place, the previous file goes to backups first (last 15 of each). Warns if the game rewrote the file meanwhile.
• Any folder. Finds Thunderstore Mod Manager, r2modman and Gale profiles and Steam games with BepInEx; any other folder can be pasted or picked.
• G3A3 calculator. Mobs and bosses at each star, crossbow damage, food, day length, stacks: before and after your change.

How to use

1. Install it with your mod manager into the profile whose configs you want to edit.
2. Open the profile folder: in the mod manager, Settings → Locations → Browse profile folder.
3. Go to BepInEx\plugins\G3A1-G3A3_Config_Editor and run G3A3 Config Editor.bat. Tip: right-click it → Send to → Desktop (create shortcut).
4. The editor opens in your browser. Keep the black window open while you edit: it is what writes the files.
5. Pick a mod at the top, change values, press Сохранить (Save, Ctrl+S). The Папка (Folder) button opens another profile or game.
6. Restart the game or the server: mods read their configs at start. A mod that never ran has no config yet.
7. When done, close the black window or press the power button on the page.

Safety

Runs only on your computer: a small web server on localhost, with a new key on every start so no other page can use it. Nothing is downloaded or sent anywhere. It reads and writes only .cfg files in the folder you chose. Backups: %LOCALAPPDATA%\G3A3 Config Editor\backups. The .bat starts the editor's PowerShell script; both are plain text.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (PowerShell is built in) and any modern browser. It is not loaded into the game: players and servers do not need it. The interface is in Russian; the RU / EN switch shows G3A3's setting descriptions in English.

Конфиги всех модов BepInEx на понятной веб-странице вместо текстового файла, с сохранением прямо туда, откуда их читают моды. Для G3A3 ещё и показывает, что дадут числа в игре.

Возможности

• Все моды на одной странице. Все .cfg профиля, включая подпапки, в списке по названиям модов.
• Удобная правка. Разделы, поиск, переключатели, ползунки и списки; описания, значения по умолчанию и диапазоны; изменённые и неверные значения подсвечиваются.
• Надёжное сохранение. Файл пишется на место, прежний сначала уходит в резервные копии (последние 15 каждого). Если игра за это время перезаписала файл, редактор предупредит.
• Любая папка. Сам находит профили Thunderstore Mod Manager, r2modman и Gale и игры Steam с BepInEx; любую другую папку можно вставить или выбрать.
• Калькулятор G3A3. Мобы и боссы на каждой звезде, урон арбалета, еда, длина суток, стаки: до и после вашей правки.

Как пользоваться

1. Установите его менеджером модов в тот профиль, чьи конфиги хотите править.
2. Откройте папку профиля: в менеджере модов Settings → Locations → Browse profile folder.
3. Зайдите в BepInEx\plugins\G3A1-G3A3_Config_Editor и запустите G3A3 Config Editor.bat. Совет: правый клик по нему → Отправить → Рабочий стол (создать ярлык).
4. Редактор откроется в браузере. Не закрывайте чёрное окно, пока правите: именно оно записывает файлы.
5. Выберите мод вверху, поменяйте значения, нажмите Сохранить (Ctrl+S). Кнопка Папка открывает другой профиль или игру.
6. Перезапустите игру или сервер: моды читают конфиг при запуске. У мода, который ещё ни разу не запускался, конфига пока нет.
7. Закончив, закройте чёрное окно или нажмите кнопку питания на странице.

Безопасность

Работает только на вашем компьютере: маленький веб-сервер на localhost с новым ключом при каждом запуске, так что другие страницы им не воспользуются. Ничего не скачивает и никуда не отправляет. Читает и пишет только файлы .cfg в выбранной папке. Резервные копии: %LOCALAPPDATA%\G3A3 Config Editor\backups. .bat запускает PowerShell-скрипт редактора; оба — обычный текст.

Требования

Windows 10 или 11 (PowerShell встроен) и любой современный браузер. В игру не загружается: игрокам и серверам он не нужен.
