BetterTrinkets Valheim 1.0 Compatibility Patch
An unofficial compatibility patch for Schwifty's BetterTrinkets mod after the Valheim 1.0 update.
What this package does
- Adapts BetterTrinkets to Valheim 1.0's updated status-effect API.
- Preserves the original plugin identity and
better_trinkets.cfgconfiguration file. - Retains BetterTrinkets passive effects and adrenaline-doubling behavior.
Current status
The passive-effect path and adrenaline-doubling path were tested in Valheim 1.0 with BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350. Several existing trinkets were exercised, but every effect has not been exhaustively verified.
The two trinkets introduced by the Valheim 1.0 update are intentionally not modified by this patch. They remain outside the compatibility patch so their effects are not disclosed here.
This patch does not change item tooltip text or add a custom in-game configuration screen. Edit BepInEx/config/better_trinkets.cfg with the game closed. DoublingOnAdrenaline = true enables adrenaline doubling.
Installation
Install this package through a Valheim mod manager or extract plugins/BetterTrinkets.dll into BepInEx/plugins/. Keep the existing better_trinkets.cfg if you already configured the original mod.
Install only one BetterTrinkets DLL. Do not install the original BetterTrinkets DLL or older compatibility builds alongside this package.
