ReadyViking v0.1.0

ReadyViking is a compact, local readiness overlay for Valheim. Press F8 to open or close it. The overlay automatically hides after its configured duration and refreshes one snapshot when it is opened.

• Compatible ammunition count for weapons that use Valheim's standard ammo-type system

• Statuses shown as OK, WARN, MISS, N/A, or UNK

The ammunition path was live-tested with bows and arrows, an arbalest and bolts, additional compatible vanilla ammunition cases, and Blob Bomb. Modded weapon compatibility may work when a weapon uses Valheim's standard ammo-type system, but third-party weapons are not guaranteed.

Safety and Scope

• Client-side, read-only overlay
• No gameplay, balance, inventory, item, or player-state changes
• No item creation, repair, movement, selection, use, or consumption
• No continuous polling or background scanning
• No network calls, server RPCs, or multiplayer synchronization
• No Harmony patches
• No portal requirement or portal check

Installation

Install through a compatible r2modman profile after publication, or place ReadyViking.dll in the Valheim profile's BepInEx/plugins/ReadyViking/ directory for a manual installation. Start the modded profile and press F8.

Limitations

The overlay is a point-in-time snapshot and does not update while it remains open. Unknown or modified data may conservatively appear as UNK. No low-ammunition warning threshold is included. Portal materials are intentionally not evaluated.
