Veteran-Rambo

Any hit from a mob instantly kills your character — no matter how much health, armor or block power you have.

One touch from a Greyling, a troll or a boss and you are down. Pure hardcore mode for players who want every fight to be their last.

Installation

• Install via r2modman / ThunderStore Mod Manager (recommended), or
• Install the BepInEx Pack for Valheim manually and drop Veteran-Rambo.dll into <Valheim>\BepInEx\plugins\.

What kills you

• Any attack from a creature — instantly, regardless of your remaining health, armor, shields or resistances.
• Works with every mob: Greylings, draugrs, trolls, bosses — all of them.

What does NOT kill you

• The Training Dummy — punching the practice dummy never counts as a mob hit (it is excluded by faction and by name).
• Environmental damage with no attacker: falling, drowning, poison and burn damage over time, cold, etc.
• Hits from other players (PvP behaves as in vanilla).
• Damage while dodging, during cutscenes or teleporting — vanilla protection still applies.
• While playing in god mode or as a ghost.

Configuration

BepInEx\config\com.gchallenger.veteranrambo.cfg (created on first launch):

• Enabled — turn the whole mod on (true) or off (false).
