Keep Achievements & No Cheat Flags
Valheim blocks a character's achievements, and tags items as "created by cheating", as soon as you use a console cheat command. This mod removes that penalty. Use devcommands, spawn, god or anything else, and your achievements keep unlocking as normal.
Features
- Achievements keep unlocking, even after using cheats and in a modded game.
- Clears the "this character used cheats" flag.
- Removes the "created by cheating" tag from items. Existing ones are cleaned, new ones are never flagged.
- No confirmcheats prompt, so cheat commands work right away.
- Optional: keeps the Cheats stat at 0 and hides it from the character stats page, along with cheat commands in the Used commands list.
Since patch 1.0.12, Valheim has a built-in command to opt back into achievements. This mod still does more: it works automatically, skips confirmcheats and removes the cheated tag from items.
Installation
Install with a mod manager, or copy KeepAchievements.dll into BepInEx/plugins. Requires BepInExPack Valheim.
The mod only affects your own game and achievements. A dedicated server does not need it.
Configuration
The config file BepInEx/config/com.bouns.keepachievements.cfg is created on first launch. It can also be edited in game with a configuration manager.

The cleanup runs while your character is loaded and is saved with the character.
Do you need to keep it installed?
The cleanup is not temporary. Once your character and items are cleaned and saved, the tags only come back if you use cheats again. If you keep other mods or BepInEx installed, Valheim still treats the game as modded and blocks achievements, so keep this mod in a modded setup.
