Enigma Mode QoL

Enigma Mode QoL is an optional companion modpack designed to enhance your Valheim or Valheim Enigma Mode experience by improving immersion, inventory management, and multiplayer performance. While Enigma Mode itself reshapes Valheim’s world and systems, the QoL pack focuses on smoothing the player experience so you can focus on exploration, building, and combat.

This pack is meant for Enigma Mode but is fully compatible with regular Valheim. It is entirely optional. You can use it as-is or replace it with your own preferred quality-of-life mods—the full Enigma Mode experience works either way.

What Enigma Mode QoL Does

Enigma Mode QoL enhances gameplay in several key ways:

• Immersive Exploration – Players can switch to first-person mode for a more intimate perspective of the world. Dungeons, outposts, and scenic vistas feel more alive, making exploration feel like a true adventure.
• Reduced Inventory Management – Extra inventory slots, better sorting, and easier access to items make it simple to carry more resources without constant micromanagement. Players can spend more time adventuring and less time juggling materials.
• Improved Multiplayer Performance – Optimizations reduce lag, latency, and synchronization issues, making co-op combat and exploration smoother for all players.
• Enhanced Visuals and Communication – Adjustments to gamma and lighting ensure environments are clear and atmospheric, while integrated tools help players communicate seamlessly in multiplayer sessions.
• Convenient Utilities – Features like automatic screenshots for Discord and lightweight mod frameworks provide additional convenience without disrupting gameplay.

Together, these improvements make Enigma Mode more comfortable and immersive without changing the core gameplay or progression systems.

Getting Started

Install the QoL pack alongside Enigma Mode. No configuration is required for basic use, but advanced players can tweak settings to suit their preferences. Enigma Mode QoL emphasizes comfort and immersion. It doesn’t alter progression, combat, or the unique systems of Enigma Mode. It simply makes the journey easier and more enjoyable.

Fire's Ghetto Networking

• Set default Update Rate to 100%
• Everybody's networking situation is unique.
• If you experience problems in multiplayer, try adjusting some of the settings in fGN

Cartography Table changes

• Adjusted Cartography Table settings in nomap Printer
• Players can press M to veiw the map, if conditions are met
• Player must be within 20 meters of cartography table
• Player must have 7 comfort or more
• Interact with "record discoveries" to open the map and add pins to it

Discord Screenshots

• I removed this mod because 1.6.0 causes Valheim to crash on server login
• You can use 1.5.0 if you download add it to the modpack manually, it will work
• I left the config in so you wont need to configure anything
• Do NOT use 1.6.0 it will cause Unity Crash
