CLLC Compatibility 1.0.2
Keeps CreatureLevelAndLootControl 4.6.4 working with Valheim 1.0. Tested with Valheim 1.0.16 using the original Thunderstore release.
What it fixes
Adapts the older mod's network, sector, inventory, effect, notification and crafting/cooking calls to the current game APIs. Your CLLC difficulty, loot and creature settings remain in the original mod's configuration.
This addon supports the exact reviewed 4.6.4 DLL. It does not update CLLC itself or add newer CLLC features. The separate CLLC 5.x releases on Hexium have not been validated with this addon; do not treat this package as a patch for those releases.
Install
Install Smoothbrain CreatureLevelAndLootControl 4.6.4 and BepInExPack Valheim, then import this ZIP as a local mod while Valheim is closed.
- Install the addon on every client running the supported CLLC DLL.
- Install it on the dedicated server if that server runs CLLC.
- Keep the original mod enabled and keep one copy of this addon.
- Remove the old combined ThreeModCompatibility addon before using any of the separate compatibility addons.
For manual installation, merge the ZIP's BepInEx folder into your profile root. The addon DLL belongs in BepInEx/patchers/L4zerShark_Team-CLLCCompatibility/.
Settings and verification
Use CLLC's existing configuration. This addon adds no settings and does not replace your config files.
The startup log should contain Prepared repaired CreatureLevelControl.dll. An unrecognized DLL build loads unchanged with a warning. If a supported DLL cannot be repaired, startup reports the reason instead of silently loading it without its required fixes.
The installed original DLL is preserved; repairs go to a private BepInEx cache. Remove this addon and restart to load the original mod unchanged. The separate terrain and teleport compatibility addons may be installed alongside it.
Credits
CreatureLevelAndLootControl is by Smoothbrain: original Thunderstore release and current upstream releases. Compatibility addon by L4zerShark_Team. This package includes the addon only; install CLLC separately.
