Shows item quality as stars instead of the orange number. Gear only, client-side, configurable.

BepInEx pack for Valheim. Preconfigured with the correct entry point for mods and preferred defaults for the community.

Quality Stars

Shows item quality as stars instead of the small orange number in your inventory slots. A quality 3 item gets three stars, quality 4 gets four.

Client-side only - the server does not need it, other players are not affected.
No dependencies except BepInEx.
Only gear gets stars: weapons, bows, shields, armor, tools, torches and utility items.
Shown in inventory and container grids; tooltips and hotbar are unchanged.

Put QualityStars.dll into BepInEx/plugins/.

Shadow	true	Thin dark shadow behind the stars

Changes apply live if you edit the file while the game runs (or via a config manager).

Harmony postfix on InventoryGrid.UpdateGui; the vanilla quality text is only hidden (not removed), stars are generated at runtime.
