Dark Urge

A low-poly fantasy VRM avatar with a humanoid rig, braid physics and secondary body motion.

Character binding: сольвейг (Cyrillic). This is the Valheim character name, not a Steam name. VRM Fixes matches it without regard to letter case. Version 1.0.8 replaces the Neodin binding used by earlier local test packages.

Install with r2modman

1. Install Dark_Urge by Neodin with dependencies in your Valheim profile.
2. Fully restart Valheim using Start modded.
3. Play with the character сольвейг.

Every player who wants to see this avatar must install the same package and its dependencies. Models are not transferred automatically through the world or server. No copying into the game folder is required.

Required runtime: Neodin-VRM_Fixes-1.1.0, which declares EnhancedValheimVRM and BepInEx as dependencies.

Other avatars and updates

This version can coexist with Nordic Avatars, whose Sigrid model is assigned to Neodin. Avoid enabling another avatar pack that also assigns a model to сольвейг.

If upgrading from a locally imported Dark Urge test ZIP, remove that local entry and install this published package from the online catalog to receive future updates.

Contains nudity; enable the NSFW search filter if the package is hidden in your mod manager.

Avatar author: Neodin. The source model was generated with Tripo and subsequently edited, painted and rigged in Blender/AccuRIG with AI-assisted tooling. Uses VRM Fixes and EnhancedValheimVRM as dependencies; their binaries are not bundled here.

Use and redistribution permissions are recorded in the embedded VRM 1.0 metadata. Personal non-commercial use; attribution to Neodin is required.

1.0.12 (local test)

• Empty this standalone package. Dark Urge is included in Nordic_Avatars alongside Sigrid.
• No model files, mappings, plugins or dependencies remain in this package.

1.0.11 (local test)

• Add the character name dark alongside сольвейг for local testing.
• Both names receive identical model and settings files; the accepted avatar is unchanged.
• Continue using the existing VRM Fixes dependency.

1.0.10 (local test)

• Darker, cooler grey skin across the face, body and legs. Preserve hair, clothing, jewelry and the accepted rig.
• Preserve current avatar mapping, settings and VRM Fixes 1.1.1 dependency.

• Require VRM Fixes 1.1.1 for EnhancedValheimVRM 1.2.0 support.
• Model, physics, character binding and settings are unchanged.
