Summit
Strava for Valheim elevation. A minimal HUD mod that shows your height above sea level in Wood Poles (1 Wood Pole = 1 meter).
Features
- Real-time altitude display in Wood Poles above sea level
- Personal best (peak) tracking per character and per world
- Gold flash notification when you hit a new record
- Summit shout (Insert key) announces your peak to the server
- Must be near your peak to shout (anti-spam)
- Drag-to-reposition HUD (Ctrl+F8 to toggle edit mode)
- JSON-based data persistence
- Lightweight, no dependencies beyond BepInEx

Configuration
All settings are in BepInEx/config/norsetools.summit.cfg:
- ToggleEditMode: Ctrl+F8 (hotkey to enter drag mode)
- SummitShout: Insert (hotkey to shout your peak)
- SummitThreshold: 5 (must be within this many Wood Poles of peak to shout)
- FontSize: 18 (HUD text size)
- PositionX: 0.5 (horizontal anchor 0-1)
- PositionY: 0.02 (vertical anchor 0-1)
Installation
- Install via Thunderstore Mod Manager (recommended)
- Or manually: drop Summit.dll into BepInEx/plugins/
Data Storage
Peak records are stored in BepInEx/config/norsetools.summit.data.json. Each record tracks character name, world UID, peak altitude, and timestamp. Data persists across mod updates.
