Runes of Refinement
A Path of Exile 2–inspired item crafting system for Valheim. Apply runes and omens to your equipment to add, reroll, and corrupt modifiers — bringing deep endgame itemization to the Viking world.

- 9 Runes (currency orbs) — Transmutation, Augmentation, Regal, Exaltation, Alchemy, Chaos, Annulment, Divine, Vaal (Corruption)
- 10 Omens (prophecy catalysts) — Elements, Protector, Order, Sinistral/Dextral, Abundance, Corruption, Whittling, Perfection, Greater Annulment
- 45 Affixes — 39 regular + 6 mythic, across 5 categories: Offensive, Defensive, Utility, Elemental, Mythic
- Item Tiers (T1–T6) — automatic tier detection based on item stats, affects affix roll ranges
- Prefix/Suffix system — Magic items: 1 prefix + 1 suffix, Rare items: 3 + 3
- Corruption — Vaal orb permanently corrupts items with unpredictable outcomes
- Cursor-apply mechanic — pick up a rune, click on equipment to apply

Affix Categories
- Weapon — damage %, elemental damage, attack speed, armor pierce, knockback, backstab, lifesteal, skill bonus, stamina on kill
- Armor — armor, max HP, max stamina, resistances (fire/frost/poison), stagger resist, HP/stamina/eitr regen, stealth, move speed, carry weight, exploration radius
- Tool — mining/chopping damage, tool damage, swing speed, experience bonus, stamina reduction
- Shield — block power, thorns, parry bonus, damage reduction, stamina on parry, armor
- Mythic — Lightning strike, frost shield, all-damage boost, survive lethal hit, berserker rage, XP boost
