โจ Features
What it shows
-
Each player's Steam picture, name, health, stamina and distance, live, at any range.
-
Each picture has a ring that is green, amber or red by how healthy that player is, and an arrow next to their distance points the way they are, relative to where you are looking. F8 hides or shows the panel (handy for screenshots). It hides itself while menus are open.
-
With the AICompanion mod: each player's companion shows under them (health, distance, what it is doing).

๐ฅ Multiplayer
Who needs it: Only the players who want it.
Players with the mod share their exact health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs at any distance (ShareMyStats is each player's own choice); players without it show what the game shares nearby. The host decides whether stats are shared at all (AllowSharing, for PvP servers).
โ๏ธ Settings
In BepInEx/config/com.quad.partyhud.cfg, made the first time the game runs with the mod. r2modman and Thunderstore Mod Manager edit it under Config editor.

Sharing
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
ShareMyStats |
true |
Send your health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs to the other players who have this mod (a few times a second, at any distance). Off: they only see what the game itself shows of you when you are near. |
AllowSharing |
true |
Players with this mod share their exact health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs with each other at any distance. A PvP server may want this off (each player then sees only what the game shows of players near them). In multiplayer the server's value applies. |

๐ Recent changes
- 1.8.2 A clearer page: what it does, who needs it in multiplayer, how it gets on with other mods, and where to report a bug. The game itself is unchanged.
- 1.8.1 A new id, com.quad.partyhud (it was com.dhack.partyhud): your settings move over by themselves the first time it starts, and the old settings file is kept as a backup. Restart the game after this update. If an old copy is still installed beside it, this one stands down and says which file to delete, so the two never both run. The DLL now says it was made with AI, as Thunderstore asks.
- New: Sharing/ShareMyStats (on by default): turn it off and your game stops sending your health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs to the other players; they then see only what the game itself shows of you nearby. Sharing/AllowSharing is decided by the server in multiplayer, so a PvP server can switch the sharing off for everyone. The panel's names and numbers are now in the game's own lettering.
Every change is on the Changelog tab.
CHANGELOG
1.12.0
- More personal HUD settings: overall transparency, fully clear backgrounds, normal and compact widths, member text size, row spacing, top or bottom placement, and the party title's own position and font size. Every setting applies while you play, with slider ranges in configuration editors. Optional screen fitting and position clamping keep large parties and offsets visible. Existing settings and the current artwork are kept.
1.11.1
- The party title now flows into a continuous outer frame through a curved, sloping shoulder. Rounded borders and flowing Nordic corner knots replace the rigid rectangular title tab and angular corner plates.
1.11.0
- A new carved Nordic party HUD: dark textured wood, bronze and gold player frames, green companion frames, larger portraits and names, framed food slots, and beveled red and gold live bars. Companion rows now share the full panel width with a dedicated status and buff band. Compact mode remains available, and tall party lists shrink to fit above the bottom of the screen. Artwork is embedded in the DLL; no separate texture install is needed.
1.10.3
- Settings: edits to the config file now apply while the game runs (a server owner no longer has to restart), and a server's admins can change the server's settings from their own game with Configuration Manager, where other players see them greyed out. Your config file always keeps your own values while you play on a server (saving it there could write the server's in). Players on an older version still get the server's settings.
1.10.2
- Its party panel no longer fill the log with "The LiberationSans SDF Font Asset was not found": each text is given the game's font before it starts (it looked for TextMeshPro's default font, which the game doesn't have, every time a text was made). Nothing changes on screen.
1.10.1
- Much less network traffic: your game now sends your health, stamina, food and buffs to the other players only when something they would see has changed (at most once a second, and every 2 seconds anyway), instead of three times a second. On a busy server that is about a third of the traffic or less, and the party panel looks the same. Works with players on older versions.
1.10.0
- Now in your language: English, Russian, German, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Polish and Turkish, following the game's own Language setting. The game's own names are used for its things (items, creatures, lands, stations). The translations were made with AI: to correct a line, or add a language, put a file in BepInEx/config/translations/com.quad.partyhud/ named after the game's name for the language (German.json...) with only the lines you change, copied from translations/English.json on GitHub. Fixed: names and status lines no longer vanish in Chinese.
1.9.0
- The party panel is now part of the game's own HUD, made from its own pieces: the inventory's sunken boxes and bars, the game's lettering, and the minimap's arrow for which way each player is. It hides with the HUD (and in cutscenes), follows the interface scale you set in the game's settings, and is lighter to draw: rows are only built again when someone joins or leaves or you change a setting. Every setting still works.
1.8.2
- A clearer page: what it does, who needs it in multiplayer, how it gets on with other mods, and where to report a bug. The game itself is unchanged.
1.8.1
- A new id, com.quad.partyhud (it was com.dhack.partyhud): your settings move over by themselves the first time it starts, and the old settings file is kept as a backup. Restart the game after this update. If an old copy is still installed beside it, this one stands down and says which file to delete, so the two never both run. The DLL now says it was made with AI, as Thunderstore asks.
Earlier
-
New: Sharing/ShareMyStats (on by default): turn it off and your game stops sending your health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs to the other players; they then see only what the game itself shows of you nearby. Sharing/AllowSharing is decided by the server in multiplayer, so a PvP server can switch the sharing off for everyone. The panel's names and numbers are now in the game's own lettering.
-
A fallen companion's row says its things are in a tombstone (they keep the gear they wore since AICompanion 0.8), not "gear in a crate".
-
New: a companion's row shows its three food slots under its picture, as players' rows do (empty slots: it is hungry and does not heal).
-
New: a companion's row shows a little picture of its face (AICompanion 0.3.0 takes it) instead of its initial.
-
New: with the AICompanion mod installed, each player's companion shows under them in the panel: its name, health, how far away it is and which way, and what it is doing (or that it has fallen), its stamina, and its buffs (a boss power, meads). General, ShowCompanions turns it off.
-
Three food slots under each player's picture show what they are eating, with a line for how long each has left (red when nearly gone). The arrow and buff icons are as in 1.5.0.
