README

Raincoat

Adds a two-piece Raincoat armor set (hood + cape) which blocks the wet status effect from rain while worn as a set. Also adds a crafting component and new drop, Neck Skin.

Features

  • Raincoat Hood and Raincoat Body (cape) — cloned from the vanilla Troll Leather Helmet and Troll Hide Cape, retextured with a bright green tint.
  • Set bonus: Wearing both pieces applies a custom status effect that blocks the rain-based wet debuff from being (re)applied or refreshed, so it decays and clears on its own normal schedule instead of being kept topped up by rain. Getting wet from swimming or submersion still works normally — only rain is blocked.
  • Neck Skin: a new raw crafting material, cloned from Leather Scraps, added as a drop from Necks (1–2 per kill, level-scaled).

Requirements

Installation

  • drop the .dll into your bepinex/plugins folder or use a mod manager

Crafting

Both pieces are crafted at the Workbench (level 2). Troll Hide is required in an amount equal to Neck Skin, both for the base recipe and for every upgrade level, so the set doesn't bypass the usual Troll Hide difficulty barrier.

Item Base Cost Per-Level Upgrade Cost
Raincoat Body 5 Neck Skin + 5 Leather Scraps + 5 Troll Hide +2 / +2 / +2 per level
Raincoat Hood 3 Neck Skin + 3 Leather Scraps + 3 Troll Hide +1 / +1 / +1 per level

Neck Skin itself isn't craftable — it only drops from killing Necks.
