README

SnepMods

A small pack of gameplay tweaks. Press Shift+P in-game to open the settings menu — pick a mod from the list to see its own settings page.

Mods included

Few QoL mods that i'm making for me and my friends and thought about shareing them. (will be adding more in the future)

AutoShield

Equip a one-handed weapon and your last-equipped shield comes with it automatically — no more re-clicking your shield every time you switch weapons.

  • Toggle key: F7 (rebindable in the menu)

Compass

A heading strip at the top of the screen showing cardinal directions and nearby map pins (death markers, bosses, your placed pins, other players, etc.) projected by direction.

  • Toggle key: F8 (rebindable in the menu)
  • Adjustable size
  • Each marker type (death, boss, campfire, home, hammer, circle, portal, other players) can be shown or hidden individually

Settings menu

Open with Shift+P. Click a mod's name to see its settings. While rebinding a key, press Escape to clear it instead of assigning Escape as the key.

Compatibility

Client-side only — no server-side requirement.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

1.2.2

  • Fixed a NullReferenceException from FloatingItems in the console on the main menu (character select). Items created outside a world (e.g. for the character preview) are now skipped instead of trying to claim network ownership.

1.2.1

  • Added FloatingItems: dropped items float on the surface of water instead of sinking. Toggle key: F10, adjustable buoyancy Force in the settings menu.
  • FloatingItems actively claims ownership of dropped items (RequestOwn) so buoyancy applies reliably in multiplayer, instead of only on whichever player happens to be nearest when the item spawns.
