Speed HUD
Shows your current movement speed at the bottom of the screen, in Valheim's standard font.
Features
- Displays your ground speed in meters per second (m/s)
- Uses the game's own font and styling so it blends in with the UI
- Refreshes about three times per second, so the number is easy to read
- Hidden automatically when you are not in a world
Installation
Install with a mod manager (r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager), or manually put SpeedHud.dll in BepInEx/plugins.
Requires BepInExPack_Valheim and Jotunn, which a mod manager installs automatically.
Notes
- Client-side only. It should not need to be installed on the server.
- The speed shown is your horizontal movement, so jumping and falling do not affect it.
- On a ship, the reading can include the ship's movement.
