README

Combat stats

An encounter meter for the pack, based on Muindor CombatStats 1.0.3. Install the matching version on the server and every client, replacing Muindor-CombatStats. The source and original MIT license are included.

F10 changes compact visibility. F11 opens Current, Last, Overall and recent fights, with damage, whole-fight DPS, damage taken and healing received. Completed fights stop changing with idle time. Known pets and summons contribute to their owner, with a separate breakdown. Resource gathering does not enter combat totals.

Killing a boss or mob keeps the same encounter running while another enemy remains engaged. Nearby enemies targeting an encounter participant join it before their first hit, including newly spawned bosses. The final enemy's death closes the fight at its death time after a short confirmation; disengagement keeps the existing grace period.

The target's owner reports applied damage and engagement; the server groups encounters and publishes shared totals. Fire and spirit ticks are divided proportionally between remaining accepted contributions. Poison credit changes only when the game accepts a replacement dose. Overkill is separate from effective damage. Skill categories come from the hit; the meter does not infer a projectile's weapon from equipment worn later.

Personal layout settings and completed history live under BepInEx/combat-stats-state/, outside Gale's managed configuration. Existing display preferences migrate automatically; retired rolling-window and collection switches do not override shared counting rules. Collection continues with the compact display hidden.
