📦 Provisioning Cache

More adventuring. More building. A little help with the stockpile.

Give your homestead a little extra hustle! Provisioning Cache adds an upgradeable wooden crate that gathers supplies while you explore, build, and conquer Valheim.

Start with Wood, put those Coins to work, and grow your cache into a supply station for your next big project. Timber for a grand hall? Ore for a shiny new weapon? Hides for your next set of armor? Choose what comes next.

🪙 Small crate. Big plans.

• Your cache, your priorities. Split production between resources with percentage allocations, or go all-in on your next project's materials.
• Make every Coin count. Boost production speed, expand your allocation budget, and store up to eight hours of supplies.
• Grow with your adventures. Unlock wood, stone, ores, hides, and more through eight cache tiers, from humble beginnings to the Deep North.
• New base? Bring your progress. Dismantle and rebuild elsewhere with your upgrades, licenses, and stored supplies intact.
• Share on your terms. Friends can collect from your cache, or unlock Lock Control at Tier 4 to keep the haul for yourself. Visitors can still look inside. Each character gets one cache per world.
• Bring your supplies within reach. Purchase Remote Access at Tier 8 to open your cache through the G radial menu or your own keybind.

Collect your haul straight into your inventory, complete with familiar pickup notifications. Your placed cache keeps producing while the world is running, until storage fills.

🔨 From hammer to haul

1. Open the hammer's Crafting tab within workbench range.
2. Build a Provisioning Cache for 20 Wood + 10 Stone.
3. Press E and start planning your stockpile!

🧭 Your supplies, within reach

After purchasing Remote Access, choose Cache Access in the G radial menu. You can also assign a key under the game's Settings → Controls → Keyboard & Mouse options. The Cache Access binding appears after unlocking the upgrade and starts unbound, ready for your preferred key. Your cache must be placed in the world.

Enable Valheim's console with the -console launch option, then press F5:

• cache — open your own placed cache from anywhere after purchasing Remote Access.
• cache_admin <player name or character ID> — server admins can manage another player's placed cache, including offline owners.
• cache_admin — list cache owners and their character IDs.

Admin purchases use the admin's Coins and samples, with the usual upgrade requirements.

🛠️ Admin testing tools

Targets default to your own cache; use a player name or character ID to target another. Free mode waives Coins and samples while keeping progression requirements, and turns off when the server restarts. Use cache_debug for help. Server admins only.

🚀 Ready to stock up?

Requires BepInExPack Valheim and Jötunn. Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager, or import the mod's ZIP as a local mod, then launch Valheim modded.

For multiplayer, install the mod and its dependencies on every client and the server.
