CHANGELOG

Changelog

0.5.0

Changes from 0.4.0:

  • Added an optional DPS meter for enemies, bosses and multiplayer players.
  • Enemy, boss and player DPS are configured separately with three modes: On, On + DPS, or Off.
  • Enemy and player DPS default to Off; boss DPS defaults to On + DPS in the Default preset and on fresh installs.
  • DPS measures actual damage taken by that character; healing does not reduce or otherwise affect the measurement.
  • DPS timing/calculation follows Terraria's DPS-meter math: damage starts a sample, hits extend it, the effective window is at least 1 second, longer samples are normalized, and the active sample ends after 3 seconds without damage.
  • Enemy and player DPS is now positioned cleanly below the lowest visible health/stagger bar while preserving the right-edge padding.
  • Boss DPS follows the boss-health counter layout:
    • with tracked HP text, DPS is right-aligned directly underneath it;
    • with centered HP text, DPS is centered directly underneath it;
    • when boss HP text is disabled, DPS takes the HP counter's normal position.
  • Added presets:
    • Default - Wire's current/recommended setup, including Boss DPS set to On + DPS.
    • Vanilla+ - vanilla HUD presentation with the stagger bar added.
    • Vanilla - vanilla presentation with Wire's extra HUD elements disabled.
  • Reorganized the configuration layout so the preset is first, normal gameplay settings are grouped in a useful order, multiplayer settings are near the bottom, and troubleshooting/debug settings are forced to the final category.
  • Added explicit ordering inside configuration sections so important options appear before fine-tuning options.
  • Fresh-install defaults now match Wire's current setup.
