DetailedRPC
Discord Rich Presence for Voices of the Void, with the detail the default game detection cannot give you.
Your friends see where you are, which day you are on, which mode you are playing, and the in-game clock, with a picture of wherever you are standing. Hover the image for your points and signal count.
At the Echo dish
Day 49 - Story - 20:29
What it shows
It knows all twenty-four lettered satellite dishes by name, Alpha Root Base, and
twenty-odd points of interest around Dunkeltaler Forest: the lake, the cave, the
hole, the trailer park, Stonehenge, the well, and so on. Anywhere else reads
Roaming Around, which is most of the map and an honest answer.
In the main menu it shows a fixed card.
What it never shows
Out-of-bounds places and secrets are left out of the location list on purpose.
Unknown areas
Voices of the Void names the areas it streams in, such as caves, internally, and
those names had not been cataloged when this was written. Somewhere the mod does
not recognise reads as "Maybe inside a Kerfur", and the internal name goes to
UE4SS.log:
Internal names are never sent to Discord. They can be ugly and they can spoil things.
Requirements
Discord must be running. If it is not, the mod waits quietly and connects when it appears, so launch order does not matter. Nothing reaches your log except when the connection state actually changes, or when the mod meets something it cannot name.
CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.1.0
First release.
- Names where you are: all twenty-four lettered dishes, Alpha Root Base, and
twenty-odd points of interest around Dunkeltaler Forest. Anywhere else reads
Roaming Around. - A picture of that place as the large image.
- Day, game mode and the in-game clock on the second line.
- Points and signal count on the large image hover.
- Elapsed time counts from when the run was loaded.
- A fixed card while you are in the main menu, so the presence never blinks out.
F10toggles the presence, and it can be turned off in the config.- Your save name is never shown.
Known limits in this release:
- Underground areas are not named yet. Their internal names had not been
catalogued, so anywhere the mod does not recognise reads as
"Maybe inside a Kerfur" and reports the name to
UE4SS.logfor a later release.
