Lethal Traitor

Trust no one. Your biggest threat might be standing right next to you.

Lethal Traitor is a multiplayer mod for Lethal Company that introduces a hidden traitor mechanic.

At the beginning of each mission, one player is randomly selected to become the traitor. The remaining players are ordinary crew members who must survive, collect scrap, and complete their mission.

But there's a catch: Nobody knows who the traitor is.

Features — Version 0.1.0 (Alpha)

• Random selection of one traitor at the beginning of a mission.
• Secret roles: Traitor and Crewmate.
• Private role notifications.
• Host-controlled role assignment.
• Multiplayer role synchronization system.
• New role selection for subsequent missions.

Important: This is an early alpha release. The mod loads successfully through BepInEx, but multiplayer role assignment and synchronization have not yet been fully tested.

How to Play

1. All players install Lethal Traitor.
2. Start Lethal Company with mods enabled.
3. Create or join a multiplayer lobby.
4. Land on a moon to begin the mission.
5. Each player should receive their secret role.

Traitor

You are secretly working against the crew. Blend in, gain their trust, and prepare to sabotage their mission.

Crewmates

Complete your mission, collect scrap, and survive. Be careful who you trust!

Planned Features

Future updates are intended to introduce:

• Traitor assassination ability with cooldown.
• Sabotage mechanics, including lights, doors, and ship systems.
• Fake warnings and emergency alarms.
• Voting and traitor elimination.
• Traitor and crew victory conditions.
• Customizable gameplay settings.
• End-of-round results.

These features are not available in version 0.1.0.

Installation

Install Lethal Traitor through Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.

For manual installation:

1. Install BepInExPack for Lethal Company.
2. Download Lethal Traitor.
3. Place LethalTraitor.dll inside BepInEx/plugins.
4. Launch the game with BepInEx enabled.

All players should use the same mod version.

Compatibility with other mods has not yet been verified.

Development Status

Lethal Traitor is currently under active development.

The goal is to create a tense social-deduction experience while preserving the original horror, exploration, and survival gameplay of Lethal Company.
