Ale & Tale Third Person

Adds a simple toggleable third-person camera to Ale & Tale Tavern.

Press F5 to switch between first-person view and third-person view.

This mod is a work in progress.

I originally made this for friends who experience motion sickness while playing in first person, and I wanted to share it in case it helps anyone else.

I created this mod with (a LOT) of guidance from friends and...AI (sorry) and no professional coding/modding experience (just one college course for fun and some free online classes), so I:

• can't guarantee it will work with other mods
• can't guarantee I will keep it updated 🙁
• can't guarantee I'll be able to fix the bugs beyond the one's I've fixed already 😅 sorry

The current third-person animations are the animations normally shown to other players, so some animations are missing or simplified (e.g. the "blocking" animation I used is just a freeze frame of the attack animation).

All in all, the mod does what we needed it to do!

Updates

• 09/20/26 - Fixed camera zoom issue when ending the dishwasher mini game
• 09/22/26 - Sped up attack animation to get it a little closer to the real hit speed
