Settings Plus

A BepInEx mod for Aska that lets you change the game's difficulty settings on an existing save.

Usage

Open the pause menu and click Settings Plus (between Settings and Save). The screen shows the game's own world-customization options, grouped into tabs, and only the ones that can still change after the world exists. Hover a setting to read what it does.

The tabs are Difficulty, World, Vegetation, Player and Villager. When a change lands depends on which one you are in.

• Costs, Invasions and Monsters under Difficulty, and Weather and Wildlife under World, take effect as soon as you press Apply.
• Fishing under World, and Plants and Farming under Vegetation, take effect as soon as you press Apply. A fishing ground or a berry patch catches up on its next restock rather than changing on the spot.
• Enemies stats and Bosses stats take effect for creatures that spawn after you press Apply. A creature already walking around keeps the health it was born with.
• Stats, under both Player and Villager, take effect the next time you load the save. The game applies those values when a character is created, so a character that already exists keeps its own. The screen tells you when you have changed one.
• New: Affinities and Proficiencies, under both Player and Villager, change your character and your villagers when you press Apply. Lowering a proficiency lowers levels your characters earned.

New: the screen works with a controller.

Save the game to keep your changes.

Install

1. Install BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP) be.788 or newer into your Aska game folder.
2. Drop SettingsPlus.dll and SettingsPlus.Core.dll into BepInEx\plugins\SettingsPlus\.

Config

None.

Multiplayer

Host only. In a multiplayer game only the host sees the Settings Plus button, because world settings belong to the host. Confirmed in single-player; multiplayer has not been tested.
