Water Works
Point, click, it just adds water.
What it does
Dug a pit? Found a valley? Fill it with water. Water Works adds a pool to the build menu that floods a hollow the way a lake would.
- The water settles in the lowest ground and rises to the lowest point of the rim.
- Aim at a hollow's wall to stop the water at that height.
- See the water before you place it, and raise or lower it first.
- It looks like the game's own lake water. Swim in it, dive in it.
- Land animals walk around your pools, not across them.
- Press Jump at a pool's edge to climb out onto the bank, even from a steep dug wall.
- Drain a pool any time, and get its water back into your waterskins.
Usage
- Build a Rain Collector. The pool unlocks with the Well.
- Open the build menu and pick pool, next to the Terrain Level Field.
- Aim at a hollow and left-click. A big hollow shows "Discovering..." while it fills.
- Scroll the mouse wheel to raise or lower the water.
- Left-click the water to place the pool. Right-click to throw it away.
- To drain a pool, hold Ctrl and left-click it.
A new pool costs 5 draughts from your waterskins. Raising and lowering a pool is free. Draining one gives the draughts back, as far as your waterskins have room.
Configuration
Edit BepInEx\config\mugsy33.waterworks.cfg to change these.

Rather not edit files? Config Forge changes these settings in game.
Notes
- A hollow has to be at least 1.5 m deep to fill.
- Remove the mod and your save loads as normal, just without the pools.
Requirements
BepInEx 6 for IL2CPP. Will work with BE.755, but I recommend using the new BE.789 version.
Installation
I highly recommend Vortex. Install ASKA Mods with Vortex. Then just click the Vortex button and you're done.
If you install mods by hand, you clearly don't need instructions. ;-)
