README

CFG Menu

An independent, streamlined fork of the original ModSettingsMenu for Big Walk.

This version cleans up some network issues and strips out external localization API dependencies and JSON files, providing a lightweight, English-only configuration screen built directly on native BepInEx config features.

The original stopped working with the 1.6 update and I could not abide that.

Key Changes in this Fork

  • Removed Localization API Dependencies: Stripped out the BigWalkLocalizationAPI requirements and hardcoded translation frameworks.
  • Simplified Core: Cleaned up the codebase to focus exclusively on rendering the core settings menu interface.
  • English Default: All UI elements and fallbacks default strictly to English.

Features

  • Adds a unified CFG Settings button below the native Settings in the main menu and to the in-game pause menu.
  • Provides a clean configuration interface for any compatible mod using standard BepInEx config entries.
  • Automatically detects loaded BepInEx IL2CPP plugins utilizing standard Config.Bind entries.

Installation

  1. Ensure you have BepInEx installed for Big Walk.
  2. Download and place the plugin .dll into your BepInEx/plugins/ directory.

Credits & Upstream

This project is basically a modified fork. The original chinese framework and core menu logic were from Ice_Box_Studio_BigWalk .
