Big Walk — Gourdwell
BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP) mod for Big Walk.
Every Reward Gourd becomes Maxwell the cat. Pet him.
Features
- Replaces the Reward Gourd model and texture with Maxwell, everywhere one appears
- Left-click while holding him to pet: your hand strokes down his back, he squashes, and he purrs
- Petting is suppressed while you are aiming at anything interactable, so it never steals a click
- Plays a theme when a gourd is opened or raised
- Maxwell's facing is adjustable in the config and applies live, without a restart
Controls

The bind is read through Rewired, so rebinding use carries over, and menus that disable
gameplay input suppress petting automatically.
Install
- Install BepInEx 6 IL2CPP for Big Walk
- Extract so you have
BepInEx/plugins/BigWalk.Gourdwell/BigWalk.Gourdwell.dll - Restart the game
Installing with Gale or r2modman is recommended and handles this for you.

UpAxis and Spin are re-read while the game runs, so you can nudge his orientation without
restarting.
Multiplayer
Client-side. Everyone sees their own Maxwell, and petting is local: you see and hear your own pets, but other players do not. Nothing is sent over the network, so it is safe to use in a lobby where others do not have it installed.
Uninstall
Delete BepInEx/plugins/BigWalk.Gourdwell/.
Credits
Maxwell ("dingus") model by the original creator of the meme. This mod only loads it at runtime; nothing about the game's own assets is modified on disk.
