MagSlide V2
Reloading in BONELAB is too magnetic. Wave a mag near a gun and it flies in by itself. MagSlide V2 turns that into a real motion: bring the mag to the well, feel it catch, then push it up until it clicks. Stop halfway, slide it up and down, or pull it back out.
It works on every gun right away, vanilla or modded. No setup per gun.
What you get
- Mag Slide. Mags only catch right at the mag well, then slide in and out in a straight line. No more mags yanked in from across the room.
- Keep Hand On Mag. After the mag clicks in, your hand stays on it until you let go. Grab the mag again later and your hand goes right back into the same hold. The held hand stays locked in place, so only your gun hand aims. Hit the mag release and the mag comes out in your hand.
- Swap Guard. Touching a new mag to a loaded gun no longer knocks the loaded one out. Eject first, or slam the new one in hard to swap.
- Built-in gun detection. Some modded guns already have their own mag slide or their own mag hold. MagSlide V2 spots them and lets them do their thing, so the two never fight over your hand or the mag. When a gun's own mag hold can't catch your hand, MagSlide V2 holds it instead.
- Gun Follows Mag. Push the mag sideways and the gun moves with it, instead of the mag popping out of the well.
- Slide vibration in both hands while the mag moves.
- Everything is tunable in BoneMenu: catch distance, insert depth (how far you push before the click), slide friction, and more under Advanced.
Setup
Install it with your mod manager, or drop MagSlideV2.dll into your BONELAB Mods folder. You need MelonLoader and BoneLib.
If you had the old MagSlide, delete MagSlide.dll from your Mods folder first. Two copies fight over every gun, and the mod will warn you if it finds both.
