Vibe Gambling

Beat CloverPit already? Got the endings? Want to just... gamble, without the trapdoor breathing down your neck?

This mod adds Vibe Gambling, a playthrough card (Memory Card). Pick it from your deck at the start of a run and every deadline only asks you to deposit 1% of what it normally would (minimum 1 coin). With the default 1%, the deadline targets go 31, 32, 37, 52, 155, 364, 697... instead of 75, 200, 666, 2222, 12500, 33333, 66666... That's it. Spin, buy charms, build silly combos, vibe.

How it works

• Vibe Gambling takes the place of the "Delusions of Grandeur" card (the 2x-debt one). CloverPit's card system is built around a fixed set of 27 cards, so swapping one is far safer for your save than squeezing in a 28th.
• It never runs out. Normally a Memory Card is used up when you start a run with it. This one always has at least 1 copy.
• Locked card? If you haven't unlocked Delusions of Grandeur yet, the mod treats it as unlocked so you can still pick it (turn this off with UnlockIfLocked).
• No leaderboard cheese. Runs played with Vibe Gambling are not sent to the leaderboards, just like the vanilla "Old Wounds" card.
• Disable the mod (or set Enabled = false) and Delusions of Grandeur is back to normal.
• CloverPit keeps modded play in its own save file, so your vanilla save isn't touched.

Notes

• The 3D card may still show the original artwork. The name and description are replaced wherever the game shows card text.
• Winning a run with this card still gives the Golden Knob, like the original card.
• UnlockIfLocked counts the card as unlocked, which may count toward "unlock all cards" progress. Turn it off if you care about that.
