ConnectFix
by ElfDevelop
Fixes a join bug in modded lobbies where a player connects but never fully loads: the log is full of PhotonView ID duplicate found and Duplicate key, then Failed to get player data for player ...; the player can't be heard and soon drops out.
Why it happens
Items lying around (and their data) are Photon "room objects". Photon numbers them from 1 up, skipping numbers used on the host at that moment. House objects (beds, chairs, shop, video machines) use the same numbers, 1 to about 30. When the host creates items while its scene is still loading (which happens more with mods that save or drop many items), the items take the house objects' numbers. A player who joins later gets the collision and their join breaks.
What it does
Room objects get numbers from 500 up, a range scenes don't use, so they never clash with house objects. Player-owned objects are not touched.
Only the host's copy matters, but install it for everyone, because anyone can host.
