MonsterCount
by ElfDevelop
Control how many monsters spawn in the Old World, and switch off monsters you don't want.
The game spends a "monster budget" every day on a first wave and a later second wave. MonsterCount multiplies that budget. By default it is x0.6, so noticeably fewer monsters spawn than in a modded game with extra monster mods.
Settings (BepInEx/config/ElfDevelop.MonsterCount.cfg)
Multiplier(default 0.6): 1 = vanilla, 0.5 = about half, 2 = about twice as many.PerPlayerAbove4(default 0.1): added for every player above 4, for big lobbies with Virality.MaxMultiplier(default 3): upper limit for the final multiplier.DisabledMonsters(default Mouthe): monsters that never spawn, comma-separated, part of the name is enough, e.g.Reaper, Teapot. Every day the host's log shows the whole spawn pool (Spawn pool: ...) so you can see the exact names.
Only the host spawns monsters, so the host's settings apply. Install it for everyone anyway, since anyone can host.
Note: the Cursed Doll from Unlisted Entities raises the monster budget while equipped; that still applies on top.
