When you put a disc into the video machine, the game only shows a spinner while it waits for everyone's clips. VideoProgress adds the real progress at the bottom of the machine's screen:
Loading video: 73%
Clips ready: 2 of 4
- Your own clips count as ready once the game has encoded them.
- Other players' clips count chunk by chunk as they arrive, so the percent moves smoothly.
- Russian when the game language is Russian.
It only reads what the game already knows and doesn't change how videos are sent, so it works on its own; every player who wants to see the progress needs it.
