Bug reports and support

Report a bug or browse existing reports in the shared Loki Moon Labs DSP support tracker. Select the affected mod and include its version, the game version, and steps to reproduce the problem. Screenshots and relevant logs are helpful; review attachments before posting because reports are public.

Package 2.5.8 adds support links only. Mod binaries and gameplay behavior are unchanged from 2.5.7; implementation version references below remain unchanged.

AI Development Disclosure

This mod was developed using AI tools for coding, debugging, and documentation. Loki Moon Labs directs development and is responsible for testing and maintaining the released mod.

Documentation update 2.5.7: adds the AI development disclosure. The mod binaries and gameplay behavior are unchanged from package 2.5.6. Existing version references below describe that unchanged implementation.

Star System Explorer is a fast, modern galaxy browser for Dyson Sphere Program. It is designed to expose useful star-system and planet information with minimal FPS impact, both during normal gameplay and from the New Game galaxy preview.

• Blocks clicks and other game input behind the Explorer window while it is open.

Usage

Press F6 to open or close Star System Explorer.

Use Explore to switch between all systems, stars, and planets. Search, filters, sorting, column resizing, Locate, Rescan, and preview Scan controls are available directly in the Explorer window.

Galactic Scale is optional. When it is installed, Star System Explorer reads the active Galactic Scale preview galaxy and does not replace or duplicate Galactic Scale's generation process.

Installation

Install with the Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. BepInEx will be installed automatically as a dependency.

For a manual installation, install BepInEx and place Star.System.Explorer.v.2.5.6.dll in a folder under Dyson Sphere Program/BepInEx/plugins/.

Version 2.5.6

• Fixed stale star and planet names in Explorer after renaming them in the game.
• Names now refresh automatically while Explorer is open and when it is reopened, without requiring Rescan.
• Search, sorting, system dropdowns and group headers follow the new names. Selected systems and collapsed groups stay attached to the same star after a rename.
• Preserved cached resource amounts, Locate, preview scanning, column resizing, Galactic Scale support and input blocking.
