##Mod Overview
PlayerUpgrades adds five tiered, server-synced upgrade branches for your player character, the environment, and the world.
##Features##
-
5 Upgrade Paths: Each upgrade path has a conistant theme with varying effects. Reach the fifth level of a path for a unique and powerful upgrade.
- Evader: Speed and escape
- Lurker: Sneaking and stealth
- Supplier: Equipment durability and effectiveness
- Ransacker: Loot items and scavenging
- Forerunner: Time and ???
-
Server-synced Upgrades: Upgrade levels and effects are consistant across all players of a game. Every player has access to the Upgrade Menu and can buy an upgrade for them and their squad and they will sync to all players.
-
Upgrade Cost Scaling: Cost of upgrades scale with player count. More hands means more costly upgrades. Upgrades are ~30% more expensive
-
Save System: Each save retains that game's upgrade information between games. No need to worry about lost progress.
-
Late Player System: Players that join the game late / at any point will have the server's current upgrades applied to them so they're on the same upgrade path as everyone else.
##Information to Note
-
Brief Credit Oddities: The way upgrades are synced across the server involves an information payload sent across the server that uses the credit system. When player's join the game, leave the game, or an upgrade is bought, you may experience UI interfaces display an incorrect credit number. They will reset to normal as the game goes on, just make sure to look in your DataDeck view for the proper credit number.
-
Manually Updating DataDeck: When buying an upgrade, note that the credits are properly deducted even though the DataDeck credit number doesn't chnage live. You'll need to put it away and take it back out for it to fully update.
##Install and Access Make sure you have MelonLoader V0.7.4-ci.2630 (from the Nightly build on the installer) installed and the PlayerUpgrades.dll in your mod folder.
When you load into a save file, open your DataDeck and press 'Q' to open your upgrade menu.
