MGV-176 .22LR Submachine Gun
The MGV-176 is a .22 LR submachine gun developed from the American-180 concept. It uses a simple blowback action and feeds from a distinctive 161 round drum magazine, allowing its low-recoil rimfire ammunition to be fired at approximately 1,200 rounds per minute. The weapon was intended for short-range military and police use and was produced in Yugoslavia before production continued in Slovenia. An interesting trivia was that it was made by Gorenje.
