"Heeey, don't say thaaat. You're supposed to be having fun."

Adds Curren Chan from Umamusume: Pretty Derby as a H3MP body.

omg karen! hiiii!

Models taken from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Made using cityrobo's playerbody system.
Made with help from the playerbody guide created by Lunaire.
Thanks to catt0215 for their handpose guide.
Thank you to all of the talented modders of H3VR, and for your hard work.

Lit and Unlit

This mod provides two playerbodies - CurrenPB, and CurrenShaded.

CurrenPB is an unlit model. Lighting has no effect on this model, so it will always appear bright. While not 100% matching, this is more in-line with anime-style lighting. This can be offputting in dark maps, and Curren's cuteness will overload night vision.

CurrenShaded is instead a lit model. This means that the model reacts to light and shade, and will appear dark when light is obstructed or missing. This allows for night vision to be used. However, this uses a realistic lighting model to integrate with H3VR's lighting, which can be somewhat odd on an anime-style model.

There are reasons to use both models, so both have been provided for use. If, in the future, I make more playermodels, I will make a better solution to simplify playermodel options. For now, I hope you will accept having an extra playermodel.

How to use?

If you are unfamiliar with playerbodies:

  1. Open the Wrist Menu
  2. Open "Body"
  3. Use the arrows at the top to switch bodies

Issues:

Unfortunately, since H3VR is not built for playerbodies, the playerbody system I am using will have some unavoidable limitations.
The following issues are listed so you are aware of them:

  • Items can be held weirdly. Almost all items will be misaligned in some minor way that doesn't impact usage. Certain guns may be held completely wrong or otherwise impede usage, especially tube-fed shotguns. Guns with pistol grips should be fine.
  • Hiding the body's hands has not been implemented.
  • Grabbing only the handguard on two-handed guns will move the hand to the grip. This does not functionally change which hand is holding what, and is only cosmetic.

While these do not make the mod unusable, they should be kept in mind when playing Take and Hold/Supply Run or creating videos.
