README

HTF Hollow Purple

Charge two orbs, extend your hands, and erase everything in front of you.

Press H. Two spheres — one red, one blue — spiral toward each other in front of you while your hands reach forward. When they collide, a purple orb launches and annihilates every creature it passes through.

How it works

It goes through the game's own hit system, so kills are real kills: damage numbers, kill feed, score multipliers, ragdoll knockback, and bodies you can still pick up afterwards. Nothing is faked.

Every visual is generated in code — no asset bundles, no Unity project, a few KB of DLL.

Multiplayer

Anyone can fire it, not just the host. The shot is sent over the network so everyone sees the orb travel, and damage is applied through the game's normal path, so it syncs like any other kill.

Players without the mod are unaffected — they just see creatures die.

Sound

Comes with audio included — nothing to set up.

To use your own instead, drop any .mp3, .ogg or .wav into the mod's Sounds/ folder (or into any other mod's Sounds/ folder — it searches all of them) and point SoundFile at the file name without its extension.

Options

General

Option Default What it does
FireKey H Cast key. Not V — the game uses that for voice chat
ChargeTime 1.1 Seconds of charge-up before the orb launches
Cooldown 8 Seconds between casts
Range 120 How far the orb travels, in metres
Radius 6 Annihilation radius around the orb
OrbSpeed 45 How fast the orb travels. Slower looks better, faster hits harder

Balance

Option Default What it does
Damage 99999 Damage per hit. Absurd on purpose
Knockback 40 How hard bodies get thrown
KillBosses true Whether bosses die too. This affects everyone's run, not just yours
RequiredItem empty Item you must be holding to cast. Empty means no requirement — the log prints what you're holding each cast, so you can find the exact name

Visual and audio

Option Default What it does
PoseHands true Reaches your hands forward during the charge, using the game's own IK
BeamColor 9B30FF Orb colour, hex RRGGBB
SoundFile hollow-purple Audio file name, without extension
SoundVolume 0.8 Cast volume

Notes

The hand pose uses the game's inverse kinematics rather than a custom animation, so it reaches toward the shot but it isn't a faithful recreation of the pose. It can be turned off.

If you want it gated behind an item rather than available at will, cast once, read the line in BepInEx/LogOutput.log that says what you're holding, and put that name in RequiredItem.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

3.5.0

2.1.0

1.0.0

  • Primera versión.
