CHANGELOG
Changelog
1.0.3
- Storm clock: a small top-right countdown shows how long until the rain or storm clears, synced for the whole crew.
- If a forced test state is left on from the menu, the clock says so plainly - no more mystery endless storms.
1.0.2
- REAL RAIN PHYSICS: drops collide with the world - they stop on roofs, docks and canopies (stand under cover and stay dry), and every drop spatters at its own exact impact point.
- Splash rings ride the game's actual wave surface, land on sand, decks and rooftops at their true height, and the sea visibly boils with impact rings and spray in a downpour.
- Distant rain veils: grey curtains of falling rain hang in the middle distance around the storm.
- Punchier pacing: storms last about 2 minutes, rain about 2.5, with the same long guaranteed-clear stretches between - and every day rolls a fresh forecast (it used to repeat the same schedule every session).
- Calmer lightning: strikes and sheet flashes are rarer, and thunder sits in the mix instead of stomping on it.
- New in-game menu (F7): volume plus thunder and lightning on/off switches, saved automatically.
- Fixed the shipped rain and thunder recordings not loading for mod manager installs.
- Fixed doubled wind (the rain recording already carries its own).
1.0.1
- Clearer mod page: which-mod-do-I-need guide and full manual/mod-manager install steps.
1.0.0
First release.
- Shared-forecast weather: clear spells, rain (~3.5 min) and storms (~3 min) computed from synced server time - the whole crew lives under one sky.
- Storms anchor over the island: sealed grey cloud ceiling, counter-rotating authored cloud decks, fog to the horizon, flat dead light, slanted squall rain. Sail out from under it and the storm stays parked behind you.
- Lightning: drawn bolts with branches, double strikes, distance-delayed thunder, distant sheet lightning before the storm arrives.
- Storms wait for failing light - under a high sun a storm spell rolls as heavy rain and breaks properly from late afternoon onward.
- Drop-in audio: put rain/storm/wind/thunder recordings in BepInEx/plugins/HTFWeatherAudio and they replace the built-in synthesiser.
- Includes HTF Day and Night 1.1.x (sunsets, galaxy night, mirror ocean, co-op time sync, F9 resync).
