BM Progressive Difficulty
Make long Lethal Company runs progressively more dangerous.
BM Progressive Difficulty increases the enemy power available on moons for every quota your crew completes, allowing the same moons to become increasingly challenging as your run continues.
Features
- Enemy power increases after every completed quota.
- Separate progression for Indoor, Outdoor and Daytime enemies.
- Choose between Flat or Percentage progression.
- Uses each moon's original enemy power as the baseline.
- Designed to work with both vanilla and custom moons.
- Host-controlled gameplay settings.
- Fully configurable with clear in-game descriptions.
- General Improvements integration — display the current difficulty progression on its ship monitors when installed.
- General Improvements is completely optional.
How Progression Works
Every moon keeps its original enemy power and BM Progressive Difficulty adds progression on top of it.
Flat Mode
Adds a fixed amount of enemy power per completed quota.
For example:
Original Indoor Power: 20
Increase Per Quota: +2
Quota 0 → 20
Quota 1 → 22
Quota 5 → 30
Quota 10 → 40
Percentage Mode
Adds a percentage of the moon's original enemy power per completed quota.
For example:
Original Indoor Power: 20
Increase Per Quota: 10%
Quota 0 → 20
Quota 1 → 22
Quota 5 → 30
Quota 10 → 40
Percentages are additive, not exponential.
This also means naturally harder moons receive a larger increase than easier moons.
Separate Enemy Types
Progression can be configured individually for:
Indoor Enemies
Outdoor Enemies
Daytime Enemies
Want brutal facilities without filling the outside with giants and dogs?
Increase Indoor progression while keeping Outdoor progression lower.
Want everything to become progressively worse?
Increase all three.
Custom Moons
BM Progressive Difficulty works from the moon's existing enemy power instead of assigning the same values to every level.
This means custom moons keep their original balancing and receive progression on top of it.
General Improvements Integration
BM Progressive Difficulty includes optional support for General Improvements.
When General Improvements is installed, the current enemy power and progression can be displayed using its configurable ship monitors.
For example:
ENEMY POWER
INDOOR 20 → 30
OUTSIDE 12 → 18
DAYTIME 6 → 9
QUOTA 5 | +50%
The monitor can be selected through General Improvements' monitor settings just like its other available monitor displays.
General Improvements is not required.
If it is not installed, BM Progressive Difficulty works normally and the monitor integration is simply unavailable.
Configuration
Gameplay settings are controlled by the host.
Settings include progression mode, Indoor/Outdoor/Daytime progression and maximum progression limits.
Each setting includes an in-game description explaining what it changes and how the value is calculated.
Installation
Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman, or place BM_ProgressiveDifficulty.dll inside your BepInEx plugins folder.
BepInEx is required.
Keep meeting quota.
The moons won't stay the same.
