Night Vision Goggles
Adds Night Vision Goggles to the ship store. Switch them on and the dark turns bright green, while monsters glow red with a target box showing their name and distance.
How it works
- Buy them from the terminal:
buy night vision goggles(180 credits by default). - Pick them up, then press N to put them on or take them off. They work from any inventory slot, so your hands stay free for a flashlight or shovel.
- You can also hold them and press LMB.
- Teammates see the goggles on your head, with glowing green lenses.
- The fog clears while they're on, so you can see much further.
- Monsters within 60 m glow and get lit by a red spotlight. When you can see them directly, they also get a box with their name and distance.
- Turrets, landmines and spike traps glow yellow.
- A full battery lasts 5 minutes. Recharge it at the ship's charging station.
- Dropping the goggles switches them off.
- Monsters that are meant to be invisible to you (like the Ghost Girl haunting someone else) stay invisible.
