README

CruiserSkin Revived

This mod will let you change the company cruiser’s skin in the easiest way possible, and you can also add more than one skin if you like.

To add your first skin, you’ll need two textures located in the Skins folder. Don’t worry – these images can be placed anywhere. As long as they are inside the plugins folder, the mod will easily find them.

So, all you need to do is edit the main texture (name_cruiser_example.png) however you like, and then make a destroyed variant. If you don’t want to bother creating the destroyed variant yourself, I’ve put dirt.png in that same folder just for you. It’s a ready-made dirt texture that you can layer your own texture underneath.

Important: skin files must be named {skin name}_cruiser.png and {skin name}_cruiser_destroyed.png, without example word. You can also sort your skins into their own folders; this won't break anything.

If there is more than one skin, the mod will pick one at random each time you land on the moon. The same skin will not be chosen twice in a row. However, you can disable this by setting No repeats to false in the config.

If you want the original skin to be selected randomly as well, set Use original skin to true in the config.

If you do not want the skin to be selected randomly and wish to choose it yourself, set Skin selection type to Terminal in the config (General section).

To select a skin in the terminal, type skin {skin name}. To see all available skins, type skins.

If you want only the host to be able to set the skin in the terminal, set Only host can change skin to true in the config.

Skins and mod config are fully synchronized between the host and the client so don't be afraid to play with this mod with friends. But of course everyone must have identical skins installed.
