README

RadioVolumeAdjust

Independently lowers the volume of incoming walkie-talkie radio voice in Lethal Company.

When you're holding a walkie-talkie, a teammate talking on the radio is piped straight into your ears at full volume — there's no distance falloff like there is for normal proximity voice. Loud radio chatter can easily drown out teammates standing near you (whose voices do fade with distance). RadioVolumeAdjust lets you turn the incoming radio voice down on its own, so radio chatter sits at a comfortable level instead of overpowering the people around you. Proximity voice is left untouched.

Usage

  • PageUp - radio volume +10%
  • PageDown - radio volume -10% (minimum 10%)

Both keys are rebindable in Settings → Controls (via InputUtils).

Volume starts at 100% each session and is not persisted (it resets when you relaunch the game). Adjustments are shown as a brief on-screen tip.

The mod only changes volume while a remote player is actively speaking through a walkie and you are holding one. Normal proximity voice is left untouched.

Installation

This mod depends on the BepInEx pack and LethalCompany InputUtils. The easiest path is a mod manager (Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman), which installs dependencies automatically.

Manual install: install the BepInEx pack and InputUtils, then drop RadioVolumeAdjust.dll into BepInEx/plugins/.
