This mod requires the following mods to function
BepInEx-BepInExPack
BepInEx pack for Mono Unity games. Preconfigured and ready to use.
Preferred version: 5.4.2305README
Extended Cruiser Magnet
Version 0.1.0 — for Lethal Company v81
Makes the ship magnet grab the Company Cruiser from four times its normal capture distance. This is especially helpful with wider ship. Turn on the magnet using the usual ship lever, then bring the Cruiser within the extended range.
Installation
Install on the host and every client. The player who owns/controls the Cruiser can run its capture check, so a host-only install does not cover every driver.
Requires BepInExPack. LethalLib is not needed.
Install with your mod manager, or copy the ZIP's ExtendedCruiserMagnet folder into BepInEx/plugins in your game or mod manager profile folder. Restart after installation. The multiplier is fixed at 4x; no configuration is required.
Compatibility and troubleshooting
This mod changes the distance threshold associated with the native Cruiser's magnet capture check. Other mods with their own vehicle or magnet implementations may need separate support. If another mod changes the same threshold, this mod may multiply that value too.
On startup, check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for Extended magnet capture check and the original/new threshold. If the expected check cannot be found, the mod logs Range has NOT been changed and leaves the game code unchanged.
Compilation, v81 API checks, and patch-pattern regression checks have passed. The actual native method-body match and multiplayer behavior still require in-game verification. If the Cruiser does not attach from farther away, provide the host's and driver's logs.
