Refined Spectating
Makes being dead a bit less boring by introducing a variety of new different features.
Features
- Adds zooming when spectating players or creatures (with the SpectateEnemies mod)
- Camera doesn't clip through solid objects anymore.
- Adds a Previous button.
- Keybind changes (notably voting for the ship to leave early which moves to space to accomodate for the Previous bind)
- Adds nightvision (F). lights up the area around whoever you're watching.
- Adds a freecam (V).
- Tweaks FOV to be slightly higher whilst spectating.
- Shows when another spectator is watching the same person or enemy as you, under their PFP
All keys can be changed in the game's keybind menu and everything else is in the config
Multiplayer
All clients require the mod.
Compatibility
- SpectateEnemies: supported and replaces some of its logic.
- SpectateDeathCause, Coroner, CullFactory and FOV mods all work with it.
- Tweaked Sound Physics knows when you're spectating if both are installed. Neither one needs the other.
- If something can't hook in, that part just goes back to vanilla and the rest keeps working so don't worry too much about compatibility
