Lycans Color Customizer

A comprehensive aesthetic customization mod for Lycans that allows players to independently customize their hair tint, pants/trousers color, and skin tone while preserving clothing details and facial features, with full multiplayer synchronization!

✨ Features

Independent Customization:
- Hair & Eyebrows: Choose from 12 distinct tints ranging from natural tones to fantasy colors.
- Pants / Trousers: Customize trouser color without affecting shirts, boots, or accessories.
- Skin Tone: Dynamically adjust face, ears, chest, arms, forearms, and hands across 12 diverse tones.
Preserved Facial & Outfit Details:
- Intelligent masking protects the whites of eyes, pupils, and eyebrows from skin tone shifts.
- Shirt colors (including base game team/lobby colors and LycansNewRoles outfits) and leather boots are preserved.
In-Game Lobby Mirror HUD:
- An on-screen HUD appears directly when you interact with the lobby mirror (Ctrl).
- Displays the active customization category, current selection name, and index (e.g. Hair [2/12]: Blonde).
- Lists quick keyboard shortcuts on screen.
Full Multiplayer Synchronization:
- Custom colors are synchronized over the network using Photon Fusion profile data (#hair={h}#pants={p}#skin={s}).
- Other players will see your unique custom colors in real time in lobbies and during matches.
Persistent Preferences:
- Automatically saves your appearance preferences locally via PlayerPrefs and restores them whenever you launch the game or join lobbies.
Werewolf Safe:
- Custom appearance automatically and reliably re-applies when returning from werewolf form to villager form.
LycansNewRoles Compatibility:
- Built-in compatibility hooks ensure seamless interoperability alongside LycansNewRoles.

🎮 Controls

Step in front of the lobby mirror and press Ctrl to open the preview mirror:

Key / Action	Function
`Ctrl`	Open / Close character mirror preview
`C`	Cycle between customization categories (Hair ➔ Pants ➔ Skin)
`X` or `B`	Cycle to the next color for the selected category
`Mouse Scroll Wheel`	Quickly cycle colors forward or backward
`H`	Select Hair category directly
`P`	Select Pants category directly
`K`	Select Skin category directly
Left / Right Click	Cycle Hats (vanilla mirror mechanic)

📦 Installation

Via Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman (Recommended)

Install Lycans Color Customizer directly through the mod manager.
Launch modded Lycans.

Manual Installation

Ensure BepInEx 5.4.2100 (or later) is installed for Lycans.
Extract the archive contents into your Lycans game folder:
- Place LycansColorCustomizer.dll inside <GameFolder>/BepInEx/plugins/LycansColorCustomizer/.

🐧 Linux / Steam Deck / Proton Users

Ensure BepInEx is enabled in Steam:

Right-click Lycans in your Steam Library ➔ Properties ➔ General.

Set Launch Options:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
