MA-CustomColors
Customize rank text, rank color, player name color, and hosted lobby name color in Mage Arena. Each color option has a rainbow toggle. The optional Change main menu view setting applies your rank and name styling to the local main menu profile.
Install
Install with a Thunderstore compatible mod manager. The package requires BepInEx-BepInExPack-5.4.2305.
For a manual installation, copy plugins/J_axonMACC/J_axonText.dll from this package to Mage Arena/BepInEx/plugins/J_axonMACC/J_axonText.dll. Remove older active J_axonText DLLs to avoid loading two copies. Press F1 in game to open the settings window.
Multiplayer behavior
Rank text and rank color travel through the game's normal player setup messages. Player name color is drawn by each viewer's own game, so the viewing player must also have MA-CustomColors installed to see colored names. An unmodded viewer sees the game's normal name color. Hosted lobby name color updates when the host changes its settings.
Settings are stored in Mage Arena/BepInEx/config/J_axonText.cfg. If something fails, check Mage Arena/BepInEx/LogOutput.log for the MA-CustomColors load message and name color diagnostics.
