Nivalis Dish Queue

Carry several dishes at once and serve a whole round in one trip.

In the base game you can only carry one dish. With Dish Queue, while you hold a dish you can keep picking up ready dishes and drinks from the food processors and drink machines: they come off the counter and pile up on your tray. Walk up to any of the customers and the right dish is put in your hands for them, in any order. After each serve, the next dish moves into your hands by itself.

It works for cleaning up too: grab several dirty plates and glasses from the tables and drop them off one after another.

Features

• Stack up to 4 dishes (the one in your hands + 3 on the tray; configurable).
• Serve in any order: look at a customer whose dish is on your tray and it is swapped into your hands for them.
• Dirty plates too: stack dirty plates with dirty plates (food and dirty plates never share the tray).
• Real stacking: the dishes are piled on top of each other on your tray, not hidden.
• "On Your Tray" panel in the style of the game's own quest list (its font, frame and icons), listing the dish in your hands and what's stacked. Can be hidden.
• Optional instant tray: skip the tray animations and the pause between dishes for a fast-paced service.
• Dishes already claimed by one of your staff are left to them.

Installation

With a mod manager (recommended): install with r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager; BepInEx is installed automatically.

By hand:

1. Install BepInExPack IL2CPP into the game folder and start the game once.
2. Put NivalisDishQueue.dll in Nivalis Nights\BepInEx\plugins\NivalisDishQueue\.

How to use

1. Pick up a dish or drink as usual.
2. Look at another ready dish and press Interact: it's added to your tray.
3. Go serve: look at a customer whose dish you carry, and serve as normal.

Good to know

• Don't save while dishes are stacked on your tray. Only the dish in your hands is part of the game's save; serve or drop your tray first.
• A dish one of your waiters or cleaners is already walking to can't be grabbed (the game reserves it for them).
• Not tested together with other gameplay mods. If something misbehaves, set VerboseLog = true, reproduce it, and include BepInEx\LogOutput.log in your report.
