MrFallTwitchChatChallenge
Your Twitch chat decides what happens on the mountain. Every few minutes a vote opens with 5 options — 2 good and 3 bad — and viewers vote by typing a number in chat. Whatever wins, happens.
Reading the chat is anonymous: no token, no password, no login. You type your channel name and it works.
The vote panel never touches your mouse. It draws on screen and nothing else, so you keep full control of your character while chat argues about whether to drop you a rope or a tornado.
Quick start
- Install with the mod manager — it pulls the dependencies in automatically.
- Launch the game and press F6.
- Type your channel name under General and press OK.
- Start a run. When you join a lobby the mod asks "Are you the host?" — answer it.
- The mod starts paused. Press the green START button in F6 when the run is actually underway.
Only the host should run the vote. If a friend also has the mod, they answer No and their copy stays quiet.
Keys
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| F6 | Main menu — channel, pacing, events, zombies, voice, testing, and the START/PAUSE button |
| F9 | Speak into everyone's head, plus the cheats tab |
| J | Spawns one zombie (quick test; can be switched off in F6) |
| S / N | Answers the host question when it appears |
| Enter / Esc | Confirms / dismisses the host question |
Only F6 and F9 free the mouse, and only while they are open. Everything else — the vote panel, the picker wheel, the countdowns — is draw-only.
The events
Good
- Healing item — a random healing item drops
- Food — random food to get your strength back
- Climbing item — a rope, a spike, something to help the ascent
- 3 random items — three items from anywhere in the game
- Revive a friend — a Scout Effigy, the game's own revive item
- Cure everything — clears every negative status from everyone
- Frog / Bing Bong! — for no reason at all
Bad
- Tornado — a real one, from the game's own spawner
- Windstorm — the game's wind, with the cold to match
- Zombies — one per living scout, gone after 3 minutes
- Walking Dead — a crowd of weak, slow ones
- Dynamite — drops next to you
- Hunger — hits all at once
- Turn into a tornado — one drawn player becomes the tornado
- Sacrifice or Die — a threat, a countdown, and no consequence at all
Button only, never in the vote
- SCOUTMASTER — a wheel picks a living player and he hunts them. For donations, milestones, or whenever you want the run to fall apart.
The draw remembers what it already offered. An event that just came up is much less likely to come up again, but never impossible, so the ballot stays varied without locking anything out.
Who receives what
Only one player receives an item drop — otherwise "a rope" quietly becomes four ropes. The host is the default. If the host is dead it goes to a random living player instead, because an item on a corpse is the same as no item. You can switch it to "a random living player" in F6 → General.
The Sacrifice threat goes to exactly one person, with its own sound, so it lands as a threat rather than an announcement. If the host is dead the event leaves the ballot entirely — there is nobody it is aimed at.
Everyone else still sees the vote happening, live, with the bars filling in. The whole lobby watches the same race and the same picker wheel.
Voice (optional — needs your own ElevenLabs key)
Press F6 → Voice and paste your key. It stays in your config file on your machine and is never compiled into the mod.
- The winning event's title is read out loud. Only the title — the countdown is never read.
- F9 gives you a text box: type a line and it is spoken in every player's head, wherever they are on the mountain.
- Pick Multilingual for Portuguese, or Turbo for cheaper and faster English.
Only the machine that starts the speech calls the API. The audio is broadcast to everyone else, so one person's key pays for a line the whole lobby hears, and players without a key still hear everything.
Never share your config file. Whoever has the key spends your credits.
Playing in someone else's lobby
Answer the join question with No, or turn on "I am NOT the host" in F6. That copy stops reading chat and never opens a vote, so it cannot interfere with the streamer's run. You still see and hear everything, and the test buttons still work.
The admin tab (F9)
Invisible, Fly, and Invincible — for testing and for messing about. They apply only to whoever clicked; nobody else in the lobby gets them, and nobody else can be affected by them. While flying: WASD moves, Space up, Left Ctrl down.
Language
PT and EN buttons at the top of F6, and on the panel that greets you when you join. Everything switches, event names included. There is also a font-size slider, and the panels resize with it.
Two things are Portuguese-only, by design: the built-in meme sounds, and the Humiliate event, which is nothing but a countdown into one of those sounds. In English the clips stay silent and that event leaves the ballot — a punchline nobody understands is worse than no punchline. This is decided per player: a Brazilian lobby with one English viewer still hears everything, while that one viewer does not.
The skins
The mod ships repainted versions of five of the game's items, on by default:
- Geregomilk — the fortified milk
- DYNO Energy Beverage — the energy drink
- Geregoporte — the passport
- Livro do Geregotango — the Book of Bones
- CEO of Cookies — the scout cookies
They are ordinary PNGs in the skins folder next to the dll, so you can change them,
add your own, or delete the folder to get the vanilla items back.
To repaint anything else: press F6 → Skins, click an item in the list, and the
mod writes its current texture and icon into that folder as <item>_original.png. Paint
over it, save without the _original, and press RELOAD SKINS — no restart needed.
An item built from several meshes exports them numbered, and takes them back the same
way (Passport.png, Passport_2.png, ...).
Add <item>_icon.png for the backpack picture, or <item>.txt with one line to rename
the item.
Skins are local. For everyone to see the same items, they need the same PNGs -- which is why the ones above ship inside the package.
Dependencies
Everything needed is declared, so the mod manager installs it all for you in one click. You do not have to hunt anything down:
- BepInExPack_PEAK — the loader. Genuinely required.
- I_am_a_Tornado by Thanks — used by the "turn into a tornado" event.
- BoxingGlove by PvPEAK — the weapon dropped when the zombies arrive.
The last two are conveniences rather than hard requirements: remove either and the mod carries on. Without I_am_a_Tornado the event falls back to this mod's own, simpler transformation. Without BoxingGlove, set any base-game item as the defence item in F6 → Zombies (Dynamite works).
Everything else — the zombies, the tornadoes, the wind, the Scoutmaster, the items — comes from the game's own systems, called directly. No other mod is involved.
Credits
This mod contains no code from any other mod. Where another author's work pointed the way, it is named here.
- I_am_a_Tornado by Thanks — used through its public entry points when installed. The built-in fallback was written from scratch; that mod ships without a licence, so none of its code could be reused even had we wanted to.
- ZombieSpawner by SiniK — reading its package is how the game's zombie prefab name was found. The spawning here calls the game directly.
- PEAK_Zombies by tony4twenty — showed that MushroomZombie exposes its behaviour as plain fields, which is what the zombie sliders scale.
- BoxingGlove by PvPEAK —
a great zombie-defence item. Set
BoxingGloveas the defence item in F6 if you have it; the default is Dynamite so nothing is required. - PeakPocalypse by EMG and ZombieAtNight by Heroes — prior art for timed zombie waves.
- BepInEx — the loader everything runs on.
- PEAK by Aggro Crab and Landfall — the tornado, the wind zone, the Scoutmaster, the item prefabs and the affliction system are all theirs. This mod only asks them to happen at the right moment.
Voice is optional and uses ElevenLabs with your own API key, which stays on your machine.
