DOOM for Crispberry
This mod adds DOOM as a game for the Crispberry PiPhone mod.
Play at any time, resume when you want. The app will keep the game alive.
How to Play
By default, Crispberry PiPhone is opened with Alt + P.
Once you're in game, the controls are the following:
These are not rebindable, nor there is gamepad support (yet).
Save Data
DOOM's Save and Load work normally. Saves are written inside the mod's own folder, in BepInEx/plugins/onlystar-DOOM_for_Crispberry/data/saves/.
Additionally, the app will freeze when you click away from the phone, allowing you to go back to the exact moment you left DOOM in while climbing. The game however does not auto-save, so closing PEAK without saving will make you lose your DOOM run.
Version Compatibility
This mod comes pre-bundled with Freedoom, an entirely free to use game built for the DOOM engine, with none of the original game's assets.
If you'd like to play the original instead, you have to provide the file yourself and the mod will pick it up.
Copy DOOM.WAD from your own copy of the game into BepInEx/plugins/onlystar-DOOM_for_Crispberry/data.
Confirmed tested versions of DOOM include "The Ultimate DOOM" and "DOOM 1.9", but DOOM2.WAD, PLUTONIA.WAD and TNT.WAD should theoretically be recognised as well.
BepInEx Configs
| Config | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
WadPath |
auto | Full path to an IWAD. Leave it alone unless your WAD lives outside the plugin folder. |
SoundFontPath |
empty | Optional .sf2 to replace the bundled soundfont. |
