Deaf Mode Signals
A client-side accessibility mod for R.E.P.O. that turns nearby positional sounds into brief on-screen direction cues.
- Red: likely threats
- Blue: player sounds
- Green: loot sounds
- Amber: other or unknown sounds
The mod is enabled by default. Press F7 to toggle it. Set the maximum cue distance in BepInEx/config/Codex.RepoDeafMode.cfg.
Sound categories are inferred from game object and audio clip names. Classification is approximate, and sounds without recognizable names use the amber cue. Cues are local to each player; no server-side mod is required.
