Last Spot (plugin)

A plugin for ReSkate (skate.). It remembers where you were on every map and puts you back there the next time you load that map, so you don't have to skate back from the spawn point each session.

Early release: expect bugs and changes. Feedback is welcome.

What it does

Respawn where you left off. When a map loads, you are teleported to your last saved point on that map.
- Quit on a map and come back to it: you land where you logged off.
- Switch to a different map: you land on that map's own last point.
- A map you have never visited: normal spawn, nothing happens.
Saves as you skate. Your position is saved on a timer, and again when a map unloads or the game closes.
Choose where you spawn. Last spot, a random spawn point of your own, a spawn point you picked, or the game's normal spawn.
Your own spawn points. Stand where you want to spawn, open the plugin's menu page and press Add my location as a spawn point. Up to 32 per map.
Telemetry. A live readout of your exact position, heading, speed, vertical speed, air time and distance to your saved spot. Show it in the menu, on the game screen, or both.

Requirements

ReSkate 2.1.2 or newer (Plugins Beta).

How to use

Install with the ReSkate launcher (or extract the zip into Mods\ in your ReSkate folder).
Make sure the mod is enabled in ReSkate's MODS page.
Skate. That is all: it saves and restores on its own.
Press Insert > PLUGINS > Last Spot to change settings or see the telemetry.

Settings

Spawn points

Button	What it does

Spawn point list	Pick the one used by "A chosen spawn point".
Teleport me there	Tries the selected spawn point now.
Delete this spawn point / Delete all spawn points on this map	Removes it.

Random never picks the same point twice in a row when a map has two or more.

Telemetry

Notes

Your saved spots and settings are kept in the plugin's own storage file (%LOCALAPPDATA%\ReSkate\Plugins\<mod folder>\storage.json), one spot per map name. Deleting that file resets everything.
Only changes your own game. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Some multiplayer hosts turn teleporting off; the restore is then refused and your spot is kept.

Known limitations

ReSkate limits teleports you within a few seconds, so you may see the normal spawn for a moment. (ON MAP)
